RIP Pat Torpey (Mr Big Drummer)

We woke up on Friday morning to hear of the passing of Pat Torpey, the drummer and one of the founding members of one of our favourite rock bands Mr Big after his battle with Parkinsons.

With two drummers in the Lock N Load, we loved his energy and hard hitting beats. Along with this, Mr Big are our guitarist favourite band so were all gutted.

We only seen Mr Big and Pat late last year when the band toured the country and seen them at the Northumbria University Institute and it was great to see the band supporting Pat and having him on stage with the band performing with them.

Daddy Brother Lover (Electric Drill Song) is one of our favourite songs that we play at our gigs which features Chris smashing the solos along with Dave climbing on whatever he can find and the energy always going back into the crowd.
