ABOUT
Lock n Load are an British Rock band hailing from the North East of England.
Despite only forming late 2015 and first gig February 2016, LNL hit the music scene by storm playing at some of the North Easts top music venues including the ever present O2 Academy Newcastle where they rocked the stage.
LNL mix a great blend of strong vocals and harmonies along with great guitar solos with a powerful bass and drum rhythm section to get everyone they perform to rocking to great music such as AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Journey, Bon Jovi, Queen, Whitesnake, Foreigner and many more.

And what rock gig isn't complete with its very own smoke machines and LED lighting to really get everyone in the mood.

THE NEW BEGINNING:
In late November 2016 singer Georgia and guitarist Lisa left LNL to continue their own projects.

With no time to spare, the band made a big decision to push their drummer Dave forward as the bands new frontman/lead singer after positive feedback received from gigs on his vocals and quickly recruited his dad Colin Scott from The Tony Liddle Band as their new drummer. Shortly after this another change occurred with Neil Bartlett also joining the band on Bass guitar replacing Harry.

Less than 2 months after the girls left the band and along with the new lineup came a new set-list, brand new equipment, Lock N Load returned to continue doing what they love most....playing music and entertaining.

A few months past and further changes were required with bassist Neil departing the band and experienced bassist Mel "The Rev" Occomore joining the band to join once again alongside Colin who he played with in previous bands. The Rev quickly proved the right appointment with a brilliant first gig as the band were hired for a wedding.

After a year of playing with the band Mel departed and in came Gaz "Tone" with his signature Warrick 6 string bass. Gaz has been with the band ever since.

In 2020 during the covid pandemic, long standing guitarist Chris McDonald left Lock N Load due to personal reasons however is on amazing terms and is still a very very close friend and supporter to the band. With massive shoes to fill the band looked long and hard while auditioning many guitarists. In the end they found Spider who had played with Colin for a spell in The Sleeze Sisters.
After 4 years with the band Spider left at a time where due to medical reasons Dave was forced to take a step back from performing for 6 months. During this time off the band spent months to find the right axe man and after many auditions and face to face meetings they found a gem in the form of Jon Lloyd Dixon. In addition we found out he is also a close family friend to Gaz on bass which made the transition a breeze and very quickly became a key part of the band. Brilliant musically but also a real down to earth nice lad its a pleasure to welcome him into the Lock N Load family.
